My mother used to volunteer for the Ann Arbor Parks and Recreation Department’s Natural Areas Preservation group and spent time attending meetings of the Ann Arbor Botanical Club.  Occasionally, I went on walks with her in Furstenburg or Gallup Park, and usually came away with digital photographs of seasonal specimens from those areas.  A year or two back a number of my digital photographs, published as greeting cards on 100% post-consumer recycled paper, were purchased by Natural Areas Preservation as gifts for their volunteers.  Since then, I have tried to keep publishing a few botanical greeting cards each year.
